On a rainy Texas day in late fall there’s not much you can do beyond order a pizza and tie flies. Absent the rain with highs near the 70°’s it would’ve been a wonderful day to fish. Sure there’s other things to do- but if it doesn’t involve fishing… wait what was the question again?

So knowing the potential for flash flooding I hunkered down at the vice and set to work on some CDC midges with flashabou. I took a guided trip around this time last year and this bug killed it.
