One thing I love about the Army is right away you learn we are all Green. You can be black, white, brown, yellow, red, blue, purple... but you will forever be first and foremost Green until the day you die.
The Army is where I learned to use the word brother. It's how I learned to give selflessly. It added on to what I knew of respect. It changed my view on any type of orientation and affiliation and made standards the bottom line.
We are all in the same foxhole together- we should always be working to improve it.
It's true what they say... Airborne till the day you die!
